ABOUT
I’m Austen. Architect. Designer. Operator. I trained at The Bartlett, the best architecture school in the world. Graduated with dream-firm offers. Turned them down. The reality was long hours and low pay. So I left London, moved back to Canada, and started building real things. At Bocci, I designed and directed architecture, lighting, and product experiences across global markets. Milan. Paris. Berlin. I built configurators, ran creative systems, and led cross-continental teams. At lululemon, I design retail experiences for one of the strongest brand ecosystems on the planet. I work across architecture, marketing, and spatial storytelling to drive sales at scale. I also consult with founders and growth-stage brands. I help them launch better products, scale faster, and lock in systems that turn design into cash flow. Brands come to me when they want taste backed by numbers. Co-founding Talgh.co showed me what works. We built a system that uses ad data to test product ideas before they launch. No focus groups. No guesswork. It saved hundreds of thousands and proved what customers actually want. I blend architecture, industrial design, and marketing into systems that build real demand. Great taste isn’t enough. You need results. I design for both.
